Small agency life is my normal. With it comes a particular set of common challenges that demand unique solutions. Currently, I am the guy that finds the problems and implements the solutions for internal processes and procedures. This has been a mixed bag of human resources (onboarding, performance development, and hiring processes), systems operations (HRIS migration, Atlassian reconfiguration, Airtable database building), documentation writing (client-facing, internal processes, documentation framework building), and cross-functional team building (redundancy tracking, OKR training). If there’s a problem, I’m out to fix it!

I have worked with teams of 3-7 people, acting as a glue for process adherence and improvement for my delivery teams. In the past, I have managed between 10-25 active clients of varying sizes, budgets, and project types. With my hands-on experience of being able to implement web projects from design through launch, I have a unique understanding and curiosity of how projects are worked on and what we can do to see our clients succeed.

I’ve been building websites since WordPress 2.2.x (ok, I built them long before that too). I have an intimate understanding of what a build involves—from design, to development, to testing, to eventual deployment. I’ve built themes from the ground-up and have spearheaded development on an entire pre-built template suite used to offer rapid solutions to clients. Along with that, I’ve maintained web servers through their sickness and health.

It’s actually why I went to school. I am largely self-taught in everything I do, but four years of college helped me get the basis of the Adobe Suite. My eye for design and illustration grants me a unique versatility, and it’s proven in my ability to apply it to web, print, and branding. In the end, you can run a one-man job, start to finish, with my skill-set.
